By now, everyone who is anyone should know of the beautiful and talented Jaclyn Hill. YouTube content creator turned businesswoman; Hill began this journey by creating Shimmering Skin Perfector Champagne Pop with BECCA cosmetics that allows you to amplify your natural radiance with a pop of rose gold perfection.

The  BECCA’s new collection includes: Champagne Collection Face Palette ($52), Shimmering Skin Perfector™ – Champagne Pop soft white gold w/ pinky peach undertones ($41), Shimmering Skin Perfector Poured Crème – Champagne Pop soft white gold w/ pinky peach undertones ($38), Shimmering Skin Perfector™ Pressed – Champagne Pop soft white gold w/ pinky peach undertones ($38)

If you want to get your hands on this collection, it is still available at Sephora and at select locations (For now).

I had the opportunity to get my hands on the coveted face palette, and I am in love. My favorite thing about this palette is that it suits every skin tone. Most times, when it comes to some of the cult-favorite palettes in the beauty world, they are not dark-tone friendly, but this one is…thank you, Jaclyn!
The palette features Two, large, creamy, golden highlighters—the original Champagne Pop (left), and a brand-new shade called Prosecco Pop (right)—and three new blush/highlighter shades: (from left) Shimmer, Matte, and Satin.

  • Champagne Pop (her famous white gold/pink highlighter)
  • Rosé Spritz (a luminous blush shade), which is a sparkly pink with gold accents
  • Amaretto, a toasted almond
  • Pamplemousse, a coral-pink
  • Prosecco Pop, an extremely warm gold
After watching Hill’s video presenting her collection, the blush shade she is most excited over is Prosecco Pop. “It’s a true gold, and it’s what I’ve been wearing constantly,” Hill said,  “I’ve been wearing it, like, eight times out of ten times I do my makeup.”
The cheek palette arrives in a metallic gold box. On the back of the box is a description of the palette and a picture of Jaclyn Hill. The palette itself is a shiny and gold, it is prone to finger tip marks. The front of the palette is a shiny white with gold & silver specks around the front to mimic a champagne bottle popping with all the droplets falling down (s’cute). The BECCA logo & Jaclyn’s name is in the center. The palette has a nice weight to it; it is not too heavy, it feels very luxurious, and it also features a HUGE mirror and a good one, might I add. Snaps for you, BECCA, and Jaclyn!
Pigmentation in this palette is off the charts with these powders. The highlighters do have a metallic finish and can look chunky if you apply too much(a little goes a long way). The chunkiness may emphasize large pores, acne scars, or any existing acne if not applied on prepped skin. The blushes have a beautiful finish and give a nice flush to every skin type.

Getting my hands on this palette was a journey, let me tell you that. Now I have it, and I am never letting go!
